An industry-leading company dedicated to supplying tolling, parking, traffic management, and connected ITS vehicle solutions, Q-Free provides innovative products and solutions to various transportation departments around the world, including the global Intelligent Transportation Systems market.
When the ITS folks at Q-Free realized their web application needed a design revamp, they called in the design pros at TechArk.
The Solution
A dual-phased project, TechArk started with the existing web application, redoing the design to make it more user-friendly, so that highway authority experts would be able to easily manage and update content, signage, alerts, and more. This UI/UX redesign included multiple requirements, mockups, and wireframes of interactive app designs, presenting numerous options to the client in order to be sure of their satisfaction.
TechArk also built a mobile app for Q-Free that will be used by various Department of Transportation agencies. This tablet application is used for roadside assistance, to help stranded drivers. The final product included a map view for Q-Free’s clients to easily see stranded or wrecked vehicles on the roadside, alerts, street camera views, lists of areas and incidents, and more. Each roadside technician has an account which shows them as On Duty when available, Engaged when sent a task, and En Route when in rescue mode.
