Compass came to TechArk needing an experienced technology partner to help streamline and update their web presence.
The Challenge
Compass is a behavioral health agency that has been helping children and families for over 10 years. With 12 locations throughout Virginia and a separate website for each, managing and updating their websites was no easy task. There were a number of challenges including security updates, the inability to source job applicants through the website, and an outdated design with a poor mobile device user experience.
The Solution
To make Compass’ online portfolio more manageable, TechArk consolidated all 12 existing sites into one cohesive website where all previous domains would redirect. This new website features a modern, mobile-friendly design. Our team built a custom dropdown menu representing all locations and the specific services available so that visitors can find information quickly. Security enhancements on the new site included an SSL certificate and email encryption for all form completions so that confidential information is sent securely. Finally, the Careers page was updated to streamline the job application process, allowing applicants to apply online and notifying the corresponding office when an application is submitted. After training the Compass team on their new, efficient, and user-friendly website, they are saving time and managing the website more easily.
