Festevents is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to facilitating large community events throughout Hampton Roads. They needed a custom mobile app developed to help event goers get pertinent information about events and buy tickets online. TechArk delivered big time.
The Challenge
Through feedback from locals and tourists alike wanting to participate in various events, Festevents discovered that people were having a difficult time distinguishing between types of events, dates, and event locations. The confusion made it frustrating for potential visitors to attend different happenings. This lowered attendance rates, which reduced earning potential for vendors.
The Solution
Based on customer needs and feedback, TechArk created a custom app that allowed staff and app users to distinguish between events, locations, times, and contact information. The app also provided app users with the ability to buy event tickets online, and gave Festevents a live streaming feature to promote popular events as they were happening.
