This weekend a few lucky members of the TechArk team got to spend an evening rubbing elbows with some of Hampton Road’s finest, at the TowneBank Fall Extravaganza in Suffolk.
Hosted by TowneBank each October, this event raises funds for the TowneBank Foundation, a nonprofit which provides millions of dollars in charitable grants and donations to other nonprofit organizations throughout the Hampton Roads community.
Plus, there was some really great food and entertainment (glass blowers, ice sculptures, and fire dancers, to name a few).
TechArk was proud to sponsor this event, and we were thrilled when granted the opportunity to Reimagine the grand prize giveaway program. Our developers built and tested a digital solution to choose and announce prize winners throughout the evening.
Needless to say, the TechTent was pretty popular. Our free phone wallets, the cell phone charging station, and the virtual reality experience we offered didn’t hurt, either.
Eight prizes were debuted, coveted, and eventually awarded to eight lucky attendees throughout the evening. It was a magical night, and we want to thank everyone who stopped by for a virtual tour, a business card, or just a friendly chat.
