The Challenge
The Williams School, located in Norfolk’s historic Ghent neighborhood, provides an innovative and holistic education for students from preschool through eighth grade. In 2023, the school contacted TechArk for help updating their website. Clunky processes took up valuable time the team wanted to dedicate to students and the community.
Ultimately, they wanted a welcoming, user-friendly website that served as a digital front door. This meant creating a platform that helped streamline administrative tasks, make a great first impression, and invited families and students to explore the unique Williams School educational experience.
The Solution
TechArk worked closely with the school to develop a custom WordPress website that is engaging, mobile-friendly, and easy to navigate.
Because process automation was a priority, TechArk implemented a streamlined tour scheduler system, a custom application process for student recommendations, and integration with the schools’ FACTS LMS and Donor View platform. The intuitive design, compelling content, and visual storytelling effectively communicate the school’s values and mission, encouraging prospective families to learn more.
Post-launch, we empowered school staff to fully control their content and keep the community informed. We also initiated a Google Paid Advertising campaign that has resulted in a +478% increase in conversions and -83% CPA cost savings compared to the previous year!
With this digital transformation, the Williams School now has a dynamic online presence that supports its goals and invites community engagement.
