The Challenge
Pro Bono Virginia needed a streamlined, user-friendly platform to support its mission of matching attorneys with pro bono opportunities across the state. The previous website was a basic landing page that lacked key features, including integration with external platforms for volunteer matching, a donation system, and a user-friendly design that reflected the organization’s professional and community-driven focus. They required a central hub that could provide access to service opportunities, mentor matching, and donation options, all while ensuring security and an engaging user experience.
The Solution
TechArk collaborated with Pro Bono Virginia to design and develop a custom, mobile-first WordPress website. The site features an intuitive, easy-to-navigate landing page, hosting embedded elements like the Opinion Stage quiz and integration with DonorPerfect for donation processing. The site displays pro bono opportunities pulled from platforms like Paladin and allows users to access opportunities without creating an account unless they choose to engage further. We also ensured the integration of Mailchimp for audience segmentation and improved outreach. The website is designed to highlight the community-driven aspect of Pro Bono Virginia’s mission, with an emphasis on sponsor recognition and pro bono service opportunities.
