The Challenge
The Virginia Career and Learning Center (CLC), a grant-funded initiative of the Virginia Department of Education Office of Behavioral Health & Student Safety (VDOE), was created to recruit, train, and retain school-based mental health professionals across Virginia. In 2020, the Center for Implementation and Evaluation of Education Systems (CIEES) partnered with TechArk to build a digital solution. What began as a single website evolved into a comprehensive platform for eLearning, recruitment, and professional development.
The Solution
TechArk delivered a multi-phase solution including a responsive WordPress website, a scalable learning management system (LMS), a job center, and a resource library. We developed eLearning modules with quizzes, certifications, and badges, and supported the initiative with print collateral, video content, and a paid digital campaign strategy. A branded social media plan increased platform visibility and referral traffic.
