The Challenge
CADCA needed a digital platform for its brand-new “Take Back Your 10” (TB10) campaign, a youth-focused initiative supported by the Maryland Department of Health. With no existing online presence, the campaign required a website that could educate, engage, and mobilize teens and adult mentors to fight tobacco and e-cigarette use.
The site needed to balance visual appeal and function, offering downloadable materials, blog content, sign-up features, and easy content management. It also had to align with CADCA’s brand while remaining accessible, mobile-friendly, and intuitive for a diverse audience.
The Solution
TechArk built a vibrant, on-brand website from scratch, collaborating closely with CADCA’s design team to ensure a look and feel that would resonate with Maryland’s youth. The WordPress-based site prioritized fast access to campaign resources, keeping all core actions within three clicks from the homepage.
Key features included:
- Fully responsive, youth-focused WordPress site
- Clean navigation tailored for teens and mentors
- Blog, downloadable resources, and sign-up functionality
- Easy-to-manage CMS for content updates
- Google Analytics 4 integration for tracking
- Core actions are accessible within three clicks from the homepage
The Results
With a bold, accessible site in place, “Take Back Your 10” empowers Maryland’s youth to take action against tobacco use. The campaign now has a flexible, engaging platform to grow its message, reach more students and mentors, and deliver long-term impact in public health education.
