The Challenge
Together We Can Foundation (TWC) supports at-risk youth in Hampton Roads and Southeastern Virginia as they transition into independent adulthood and the workforce. To enhance their flagship Smart Transitions program, they needed a digital platform to securely connect youth with job opportunities. The solution had to allow young users to create profiles, receive job alerts, and prepare for interviews—while enabling partner companies to post jobs and TWC staff to manage data efficiently across academic years.
The Solution
TechArk developed a robust digital ecosystem for TWC, including the Find Work mobile app (iOS & Android) and an administrative web portal. Students can build secure profiles, upload headshots, search for jobs, receive notifications, and access interview prep resources directly from the app. Meanwhile, staff can manage employer partners, job postings, and student records via a centralized admin interface. Beyond the app, TechArk also redesigned the twcfoundation.org website—adding donation tools, secure forms, and a blog to support community engagement. We’ve continued to maintain and evolve the platform for multiple years, with a new phase of innovation currently underway.
